Our beloved Brenda has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Brenda is the most kind, caring, and compassionate person with three beautiful children and a loving man by her side. She has an open-door policy for all who stop by her home and is the hostess to countless gatherings and special occasions. As a nurse, Brenda makes an immeasurable impact in the community. As a mother, she is an active participant at her children’s school. Brenda and her family are proud runners in Pink Up The Pace for Breast Cancer.
Thankfully, early screening has made all the difference, and Brenda has done her homework to ensure she is making the best decisions for her regarding treatment options and the location with the medical team most appropriate to support her through this difficult process. Things are moving quickly, and the financial costs will be adding up. Time away from work for both Brenda and Ian, in addition to travel costs, medical co-payments and deductibles will be overwhelming.
