The impact sent Bo flying several feet from the accident site, all while Dillian’s children witnessed the devastating scene. Bo, who had just been bathed and was happily greeting his dog friend, was left unconscious in front of a neighbor’s driveway.

What followed was an even more shocking and distressing series of events. As Bo’s family rushed to his aid, the individuals involved in the accident escalated the situation, responding with racial slurs and threats. The confrontation became aggressive, and despite being the victims of these threats, Dillian and her family were met with no support from the authorities. In fact, the police told them that, unfortunately, in the state of Maryland, there was little that could be done about the threats made against them.
