Help support Bogee's recovery

Hello everyone! I'm here to set up a fundraiser for my one-year- old nephew, W.B. "Bogee" Lee. On August 9th the Children's Hospital in Savannah found that he has a rare, complex brain tumor. The large mass stretched from the lower portion of the dura mater on the right side, out across most of his brain stem, into some of the clivus bone and skull base, encapsulating almost all of his vertebral artery, wrapping over C1 and C2. His first major surgery on August 13th was very successful. God guided the hands of three amazing neurosurgeons and their staff to remove about 75% of the intradural tumor, all that covered C1 and portions that were on the brain stem and C2.

Bogee's journey for recovery is just beginning. After the pathology report is finalized, next treatment steps will be determined. Those could include additional surgeries, radiation, and/or chemotherapy. We are excited for the day when he can return to the smiling, charismatic little guy that is. Ben and Lindsay are amazing parents and work multiple jobs to provide a great life for Bogee and his ten-year-old sister, Byrdee Jo.

We are here to ask for any support possible to help shoulder some of the financial burden they will be facing in the months to come. I find that in times like these everyone, including myself, always asks what they can do to help. Aside from sending thoughts and prayers, donating can make a huge impact helping with Bogee's healing journey.
