Help support Bodie's emergency vet costs and therapy

My sweet friend, Stacie, who I have previously posted about regarding her cancer journey, can’t seem to catch a break!!

As I said before, our friendship started because of being crazy dog moms… our furry monsters are our lives…. Well, she told me that her little sinker monster, Bodie, got hit by a car on Monday and has been in the Emergency vet ever since… Bodie is absolutely her baby and the love of her life (though I think her husband comes a close 2nd )

I love my crazy furry nephew, I got to babysit him not long ago and when I had him he played like crazy with Ollie and loved to show off his sport skills with different fetch games.

It breaks my heart that he has such a severe injury, and also that Stacie and her husband have to go through the stress of knowing if he will be okay, and the additional stress of vet costs, when finances are already stretched thin covering the cost of Stacie’s own cancer bills. If anyone has taken their pet to an emergency vet, you know those charges are not cheap (I’ve panicked with minor things with my dogs and the bill has always been expensive just for a visit)

I want to be a sneaky sneak and see if I can get my dog lovers to unite and donate to help with their vet/treatment costs. To help take some of the stress off of Stacie and her husband… though I don’t think I can be too sneaky since Stacie can see this post

I am trying to figure out how to get some “wheels” for him so he can still live the active lifestyle of playing he’s always enjoyed

From Stacie:

"Our little Bodie baby.. Monday he decided to chase a truck and try to “herd” —the tire won. The truck tire ran over his back end causing a severe compacted vertebrae and extreme swelling. He has been at a wonderful animal hospital nearby since Monday.

At this time, he does not have feeling in his back legs or lower back. Our hearts are broken and we miss our boy.

Bodie is our first baby and we love him more than life itself. We are praying for a full recovery but this week has been extremely rough.

Please pray for our sweet little stinker boy! We pray we can bring him home soon and start his therapy to get his back legs (prayerfully) working again. ❤️‍
