Hi there, my name is Teneal Hartin and I'm starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother Rhys Hartin.

On the 13th October 2021 my brother's world was shattered, when he's beautiful 22 month old son Bodhi was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

Rhys was immediately flown with Bodhi from Coffs Harbour to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle where Bodhi is receiving intense treatment for the next 6-8 months and ongoing for the next 2 years. So far the chemotherapy treatment is hard on Bodhi with many obstacles and our bright, happy, cheeky toddler has regressed developmentally and lost his spark which is extremely hard for a parent to watch.

They will both be staying in Newcastle while Bodhi receives treatment, Bodhi's Mum is also battling her own serious illness so Rhys has had to give up working with no idea when he'll be able to return home to Woolgoolga and back to work. Current Covid and border restrictions has made this extremely difficult situation even harder

with most of the family hours away or interstate, trying to support them from a distance.

I am so incredibly proud of my brother who has shown amazing strength throughout this ordeal but Rhys has so much on his plate and stress levels are at an all time high. I'm setting up this fundraiser in the hope that we can relieve some of the financial pressure.
