Help support Blake Wayman's family! After 5 months in intensive care, fighting his way back from a massive heart attack, Blake has passed away, leaving his family in need of your help. For the past 25 years, Blake served The Girl Scouts Of America as Camp Ranger of Camp Whippoorwill. More recently, he supervised numerous Girl Scouts facility construction projects. A native of Forest Park, Ohio, Blake worked as an adventure guide and video kayaker for The Rivermen Rafting Company (now Adventures On The Gorge) in Fayetteville, West Virginia. Blake was instrumental in developing the video program for The Rivermen. This allowed customers to watch themselves in action and take home a video memory of their day on the river. Not only was Blake an accomplished river guide on both the New and Gauley rivers, but he eagerly paddled any river given the opportunity. In fact, Blake and his wife met while working as river guides in West Virginia. Blake was a great husband, father, and friend to everyone!
