Hi everyone, my name is Aurora and my sweet boyfriend Blake Dore has recently been diagnosed with a Synovial Soft Tissue Sarcoma, a rare form of Cancer found in less than 1% of cancer cases. It is a 12cm tumour growing in his thigh, wrapping around his muscles and artery. It is chemo resistant and can only be treated with radiation and surgery. He will undergo 25+ radiation treatments here in Sudbury and have surgery in Toronto in the weeks following. We are looking for financial support during this time to go toward our travels to Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto for surgery and recovery. Fertility expenses due to radiation side effects and general health related bills. As a young couple living on our own we are overwhelmed by the potential costs.
