Biljana, a woman with a heart as big as her laugh, and a spirit that’s been lighting up rooms for as long as anyone who knows her can remember.

Biljana has been all about helping others. She’s the first one to stand up for what’s right, especially when it comes to the rights of people with disabilities. Whether it’s speaking up for fairness or simply offering a hand to someone in need, she has always been a passionate advocate, working tirelessly to make sure everyone gets a

fair go. Her sense of justice is matched only by her sense of humour, and she’s never shy about using both to make the world a little better for anyone in need.

Now its our turn to help her! For the past 21 months, Biljana has been in the middle of her own battle with glioblastoma (Brain Cancer), but true to her nature, she’s faced it with humour, courage, and an unwavering will to enjoy life to the fullest. She’s taken the fight in

her stride, keeping up her “wild” side with spontaneous dances and cracking jokes even on the toughest of days, and reminding everyone around her to cherish the little things.

Biljana knows that life is precious, and she’s made every moment

count—whether it’s a quiet afternoon with her kids or a night out with friends, everything is a precious moment.

Unfortunately, she is approaching the end of her journey, and whilst we are not able to take this away and make her well, we would like to give her some peace in not worrying about how she will continue to pay for her medical and life expenses that continue to come. If we can ease the financial stress for her and her family, that will

go a long way to allowing her to spend her final days in the moment with her kids, without the burden of worry.
