Hi, my name is Biggie and I am a 5 year old Great Dane. I was adopted as a 6 month old puppy after my previous owner passed away, and my mom is currently attending college in pursuit of a nursing degree while she is also working full time as a veterinary technician.

Recently my mom found a bump on my inner thigh that raised concerns. After an ultrasound and an exam from my regular veterinarian, we found out that the growth lies closely on my femoral artery or is connected in some way. It has grown slowly over the past few weeks, and although we had planned to aspirate the nodule at first to get a sample, we decided that it would be too risky. Its location wasn’t the best place for that until we pursued a CT scan and a consult with a specialty veterinarian which costs more than the original procedure that we were going to do. Since we have decided that I need to pursue further diagnostics, I am setting up this GoFundMe because every dollar counts.

Mom has some money put away that she had saved for the original procedure, but the expenses will add up quickly since this is becoming more involved than we originally thought. Any donation will go towards my diagnostics, exam fees, treatment, and possible surgeries that are related to this nodule. The estimated cost for the CT and consult is $2000, but that is just the start. We will see further costs and estimates afterwards and keep you guys updated.
