Hi, my name is Susan. I am fundraising for Beth so that she can Thrive and not worry about her loss of her job while she puts all of her outstanding and positive energy into overcoming Lung Cancer.

If you know Beth, then you know she is a Memory Specialist for persons with Dementia and Alzheimers. She brings joy and happiness and "ABILITY" to elderly persons who are often isolated and alone with difficulties in memory recall. Beth developed an extraordinary testing tool to assess how much these lovely people could succeed in creating Art Pieces. She would collect these beautiful pieces, usually created with amazing varieties of art paper. And after a few weeks, presented an ART Show for the families and friends to view, while the "Artists" sat near their art, beaming and aware of what they had accomplished. After the "Paradise Fire" in November 2018, Beth organized donations of candies, cookies, socks, gloves, mufflers,as stocking stuffers and taught her Seniors to stitch Christmas Stockings that she patterned and cut from seasonal fabrics. Beth recruited me, Sean and Dandy to deliver to Chico, CA over 100 stockings to Seniors who survived the fire. Plus, she had ten $100 bills she handed to displaced folks living in Redding CA.

She continued to see her clients during the unbearable lonely times for these folks during Covid. Beth wore PPE from Head to Toe. Her faithful dog Dandy also visited the non-infected clients with her. Together they brought energy and laughter to all and to other staff.

Joyous is a term that best describes Beth. Sadly many of her elderly friends did not make it through Covid. Yet she still provided Memory Skills and Art Creations to the very few who are left.

But now, she needs all of her energy to thrive during her Cancer treatments and must not compromise her health.
