Hello, my name is Jhona Rica Caluza, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my grandfather, Bernardo Caluza, who is 69 years old.

He came to Canada to visit me, but just three days before his scheduled flight back home to the Philippines, he was unexpectedly admitted to the ICU due to kidney failure. His condition has caused a dangerous buildup of fluid in his body, which has affected his lungs and made it extremely difficult for him to breathe. He now requires urgent dialysis to help remove the excess fluid and stabilize his condition. His condition is critical and that ongoing medical care is absolutely necessary.

He has no active medical insurance (he is on VISITOR VISA) to cover medical expenses. The financial burden of Bernardo’s sudden medical emergency has become overwhelming. Hospital bills, treatments, dialysis and medications are quickly adding up, and we are unable to cover these costs on our own. We are doing everything we can, but we need your help to provide the care he urgently needs.

Any contribution will go directly toward his medical expenses during this critical time. We know that times are tough for many, but your kindness can bring hope and comfort in a time of great distress.
