Help support Ben’s family after his sudden death

We are absolutely devastated to hear about the sudden loss of Ben Thomas. A son, a partner, a father and a friend. We have all been deeply saddened by the news of his unexpected passing, leaving behind his beloved family. During this difficult time, we kindly ask for the community's support as they navigate through their grief and try to find strength in each other.

Ben Thomas was a wonderful and hardworking man. Full of love, compassion and never-ending dad jokes. He loved spending time with his family and friends, being out on his boat, working on projects in the backyard with family and his little shadow, Tradie Cheryl. Ben tragically passed away on the 27th of May due to complications after emergency brain surgery for a ruptured aneurysm.

Ben was a motorcyclist, which inspired him to become an organ donor in the hopes he would be able to create a positive impact and possibly save lives. Even through the tragedy of his death, we can find some solace in remembering his kind soul, and his continued impact on the lives of others.

Navigating life and coming back to reality is going to be extremely hard for Wendy, Harry and the rest of Ben’s family. We are asking for help for Wendy while she finds her feet, pay her bills, figure out how to go on and have a life without Ben. Life right now is going to be tough for Wendy, and we want to do everything we can to take off some pressure whilst she is processing this tragedy.
