Help support Sara LaFayette Valentine & her family

We are devastated to share the news that our friend's mom, Sara LaFayette Valentine, was hit by a car while out walking her dogs in Thief River Falls, MN on February 24th, 2024. Bella is our best friend and right now she and her older brother are the only support system for their mom. Bella's mom underwent brain surgery shortly after being airlifted from Thief River Falls to Grand Forks, ND. Bella is only 19 and her brother, Jack, is just 22. They are responsible for making all medical and care decisions, and we are just heartbroken for what they are going through. They have taken time off from college and work to relocate to Grand Forks . They have their own hotel expenses, their moms medical bills and a lot of unknowns to deal with at this time. Bella's mom has 4 children and her two dogs, Josey and Jasper.

We want everyone to please help in any way you can. Donate, share, post a note for the family. They do not know how long her recovery will be, if she will need more surgeries, what her recovery will look like, when she can work again or how long they will be will need to be in Grand Forks. Bella is the bravest person we know but at this time we need to help her, her mom and her whole family. If we can't be there with her every second, we will do what we can give her one less worry.
