As most of you know, my sister Becky and her daughter Charlie live with me. Becky is one of the strongest people I know, but the last few years have brought challenges no one should face alone.

She suffers from severe Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), a painful chronic skin disease that causes recurring abscesses, inflammation, and scarring. On top of that, she battles chronic MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), a serious bacterial infection that is resistant to many antibiotics and often requires hospitalization.

In the past year alone, Becky has been hospitalized three different times. She hasn’t been able to work full-time for over a year, and in the last few months, she hasn’t been able to work at all. This has made it nearly impossible for her to keep up with medical expenses and daily needs while she focuses on her health and caring for Charlie.

Becky has already endured so much—losing the father of her child three years ago—and yet she continues to fight for herself and her daughter with everything she has.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial burden by covering medical bills, prescriptions, travel to appointments, and basic living expenses.
