Help Support Bean’s Life-saving Treatment!
Hi everyone,
As some of you may know, our 2 year old cat Bean was diagnosed with a fatal disease called Feline Infectious Peronitis (FIP) almost two months ago. FIP is a mutated cat coronavirus that affects young kittens and is considered unpreventable and untreatable.
Recently, Gilead Sciences has developed an experimental treatment called Freecat that is 85% effective in curing the disease after 84 days. We have given it to Bean for a week and he has already shown dramatic improvement.
Before Freecat:
After 6 days of Freecat:
However, as an experimental drug, it is very expensive and we must administer it at home instead of through a vet. @Shaan and I are both federal public servants. We don’t make much and only want to save our beloved cat that has brought us so much joy during the pandemic. Bean’s brother, Bagheera, although healthy, is also concerned about his brother.
Please assist us in helping Bean make history and become FIP-free. All donations would go directly towards his treatment, which we simply cannot afford on our own since pet insurance won’t cover it.
