On April 2nd, Kyle suffered a sudden and serious medical emergency — a blood clot and bleeding in his brain. He underwent urgent surgery and is now recovering at Health Sciences Centre. While he has shown incredible strength and resilience, there’s still a long road ahead, with ongoing healing still to come.

Kyle is truly one of a kind. He’s the kind of person who’s always there for everyone else — the first to lend a hand, and make someone laugh. Even while in recovery, the nurses have said he’s one of the strongest they’ve seen — and we believe them.

Although the surgery went well and there are positive signs, we don’t yet know what Kyle will need as he continues to heal — whether it's rehab, equipment, time off work, or other support. What we do know is that he shouldn’t have to face this alone.
