Victoria and Joel were blessed with a beautiful son, Shepherd, on May 13, 2025. Born with an extremely rare and life-limiting genetic condition, Shepherd unexpectedly needed to be airlifted to the hospital immediately following birth and has spent his first weeks in the NICU surrounded by love, prayers, and the constant care of his devoted family.

Doctors are currently working with Victoria and Joel on getting Shepherd home on pediatric hospice care. He will require around-the-clock attention, specialized medical equipment to help him breathe, and ongoing doctor visits.

When Shepherd comes home, Victoria will become his full-time nurse managing all of his medical needs. The family is preparing their home to meet Shepherd’s needs, including purchasing essential medical equipment and supplies needed to make him as comfortable and cared for as possible.

I am asking for your support to help ease the financial burden on this beautiful family and all of the upcoming costs, known and unknown, that will be forthcoming.
