In early June of 2025, my cousin April’s pregnancy took an unexpected and serious turn. After her anatomy scan, doctors discovered complications that required her to be hospitalized and placed on bedrest. She was closely monitored in hopes of carrying her baby boy as long as possible.

Despite everyone’s positive thoughts and best efforts, Baby Samuel made his arrival far too early, born at just 22 weeks and weighing only 1 pound, 3 ounces. He is a tiny miracle and a true fighter, now facing a long road ahead in the NICU.

April and her significant other, Tyrone, have been by Samuel’s side every moment they can, pouring every bit of love and strength into supporting their baby boy. Tyrone continues working as much as possible to keep some income coming in for their little family, while April has not been able to work due to the early pregnancy complications and now the full-time care and presence required for Samuel’s early and critical arrival.

We are asking for support to help relieve some of the financial pressure on April and Tyrone during this unimaginable time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward living expenses, hospital-related costs, and helping this devoted couple stay by Samuel’s side without added financial stress.
