Hello all,

I’m writing on behalf of my sister-in-law, Jaime Funes, and her husband, Kendrick Funes. On Saturday, August 9th, they welcomed their baby boy, Ryan Funes, into the world.

Shortly after his birth, Ryan faced serious and unexpected complications. He is now in the NICU receiving the best care possible, while Jaime and Kendrick balance the emotional and financial challenges of caring for Ryan, supporting their daughter Aria at home, and managing everyday expenses alongside mounting medical bills.

In just his first week of life, Ryan has shown an incredible fighting spirit. He’s proving his strength with every small milestone and reminding us all how strong even the smallest of hearts can be.

Anyone who knows Jaime and Kendrick knows how generous and supportive they’ve always been to their family, friends, and community. Now it’s our turn to come together for them.

We are asking for support of any kind, whether it’s through financial contributions, prayers, meals, or any other way you feel compelled to help. Just as importantly, we ask that you share this page with everyone you know, so the Funes family feels the strength of a wide community behind them.
