Hello Family and Friends ❤️

The Goens family would like to thank you  ALL of you near and far for your  PRAYERS and
support that has been  given. Tyler and Kim are at a loss of words with gratitude.

 Baby Kennedy is now thirteen days old and has already endured three surgeries. She is currently
stable in the NICU at UC Davis.  She is what they call a micro-premmie.  Her future is still very 
uncertain. They will continue to stay at The Ronald McDonald House or somewhere near the next three months.   

I am writing this update to everyone out there following their journey. I have been once again
asked  to continue this fund raiser and increase the goal.  I am at a loss of words myself in the
support that friends, family,  and followers are so graciously wanting to help.

Some of you may know this and some 
may not.  Two weeks ago my nephew
Tyler and his Wife Kim found out their
bundle of joy that was due to arrive May 3, 2021. Was diagnosed with Spina Bifida
They were told they had two choices
terminate or fetal surgery . They chose
to go forward with the surgery and save 
their sweet baby girl . This past
Wednesday January 20, 2021, the
surgery took place. The surgery was
almost a success until after closing mommy back up baby Kennedy’s heart
stopped. They had to immediately open mommy back up and rescue Kennedy.
Baby Kennedy is currently in NICU at UC Davis.  She has a very long road ahead. 

Kennedy was delivered at only 25 weeks after just enduring major fetal surgery .
weighing only  1 pound 6 ounces . 

Mommy is also in the hospital and has
suffered complications , blood
transfusions and now toxemia. 

We know this is going to be a long , hard, scary journey for this young family. 

Someone asked if we could start a go
fund me because they so kindly wanted
to help  them through this long road to
recovery.
