Update: Baby Hayden has been fighting to breathe again and struggling for over the past month. He has been taken to his Pediatrician, Urgent Care, Three Rivers and Rogue Regional during these last few weeks to be put on oxygen and then sent home when his levels were stable. Knowing something was wrong and watching him struggle and deteriorate thankfully his Mom kept taking him in and went with her intuition and didn't "ride it out" because it's a virus like she was told at one point. Thursday she was worried and scared and took him back to pediatrician who called 911, his oxygen levels were in low 80's. He was taken by ambulance to Rogue Regional where he was struggling and fighting to breathe and was placed on a ventilator and life flighted to OHSU. The Dr.s and Nurses are with him around the clock. The family is still recovering from the previous battle 6 months ago financially of being up at OHSU and traveling back and forth while missing work to care for their baby. We are asking for prayers, shares and donations to help them through this time again from our family, friends and community. Thank you to everyone who has helped in the past and who can help now! Today's update from Mom and Dad....Update on Hayden- He was fighting the ventilator and not synchronizing with it well, so they have paralyzed him and let the machine take over. This will also give him a break as he is still breathing hard. He is on pain medication to keep him comfortable. His lungs have a lot of gunk and fluid that they are suctioning often. They have also switched out his ventilator to an older one that breathes at a higher frequency.The doctors said they sometimes have to use the older vent for really sick kids. Yesterday he de-satted into the 20’s and the doctors came rushing in and they got him back to the 90’s. He is fighting so hard.
