Help support baby Grayson’s medical journey
Donation protected
I am creating this GoFundMe for the Bringle family.
On May 5th, Geri-Anne and Dalton welcomed their second baby boy, Grayson. Grayson was immediately taken to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) due to expected CHD and unexpected respiratory distress. While the CHD has been ruled out, baby Grayson is still in respiratory distress. For the last two weeks, the doctors had no answers as to why he was in respiratory distress, but yesterday he was finally diagnosed with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) with herniation of his liver. Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is a rare birth defect that occurs when the diaphragm, the muscle separating the chest and abdomen, doesn't fully form during fetal development. This leaves a hole that allows abdominal organs to protrude into the chest cavity, crowding the lungs and heart. Grayson is a little fighter; however, he will need surgery to fix the herniation and will continue to stay in the NICU for at least several weeks while he recovers and learns to breathe on his own.
Unfortunately, the expenses are quickly piling up. As most of you know, Geri-Anne is a stay-at-home mom and Dalton is the sole provider. Dalton has been doing everything he can to balance work and be by his family’s side through this incredibly challenging time.
The emotional and financial strain is overwhelming, and that’s where I hope you can help. Any donation would go directly to supporting the Bringle family, easing the burden of medical bills, travel costs to and from the hospital, meals, living expenses, and the loss of income due to time taken off work to be by Grayson's side.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing. Every share and prayer counts, and your support means the world.
