Help Support Baby Donte Jr. — Our Little Superman

On March 11, 2025, beautiful Donte Jr. made his entrance into the world, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces. He is the light of his mom Kylie’s life and a blessing to his entire family, especially his grandmother, Angela Cline.

Just ten days later, on March 21st, their lives were turned upside down when Donte became unresponsive in his mother’s arms. He was rushed to St. Agnes Hospital and then urgently transferred to Johns Hopkins for specialized care.

The next day, on March 22nd, the family received heartbreaking news: Donte had been born with a congenital heart disease. Doctors placed him on life support, fighting to keep his tiny heart beating.

As if that weren’t enough, on March 23rd, he suffered a seizure and a stroke.

Despite everything, Donte has proven he has the heart of a hero. His family lovingly calls him “Superman” for his incredible strength and spirit.

True to his nickname, Donte faced every battle with courage beyond his tiny size.

On April 1st, he underwent a grueling nine-hour open heart surgery. His swelling was so severe that doctors had to leave his chest open for several days before they could finally close it on April 4th.

He remained in critical care for weeks, fighting to heal.

In late April, just as he was moved to the ICU, Donte faced yet another challenge. On April 24th, he underwent another major surgery where part of his stomach was removed, reattached to his esophagus, and a permanent G-tube was placed to help him receive the nutrition he needs.

Through every terrifying moment, Kylie has never left his side — holding his hand, whispering encouragement, and loving him with a strength that mirrors her son’s own bravery.

But Superman’s journey isn’t over yet.

Donte has a very long road ahead — months of recovery, therapies, and continued medical care. He will soon move to a rehabilitation facility even farther from home, where he will continue to fight and heal.

The financial strain has been overwhelming. Traveling to the hospital every day, parking fees, meals away from home — it all adds up quickly. As Donte transitions to the rehab center, the costs and distance will grow even greater.

We are asking for help to lift some of this burden, so Kylie can continue to be there for her son without the constant stress of financial worry.

All donations will go directly toward medical bills, travel costs, parking, meals, and anything needed to support Donte’s healing journey.
