Support Desirae’s Fight Against Malignant Rhabdoid Tumor
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
With heavy hearts, we share that our beautiful 1.5-year-old niece, Desirae Amadio, has been diagnosed with a malignant rhabdoid tumor — a rare and aggressive cancer with a very limited prognosis. Despite the odds, Desirae is beginning intensive chemotherapy to give her the best possible chance and more precious time with her loved ones.
Her treatment requires her and her parents, Darlin Molina and Drew Amadio, to temporarily relocate to Seattle, which could last anywhere from several months to a year. During this time, they are balancing life in two places — caring for Desirae during treatment while also supporting their other two children, Carmelo and Daliyah, and managing their responsibilities back home.
We are reaching out in hopes of easing the financial burden they are facing. Donations will go toward:
- Memory-making experiences with Desirae — including short trips, outings, and joyful moments
- Household bills and essential expenses back home
- Travel costs — gas, meals, groceries, parking, and transportation to, from, and within Seattle
- Hotel stays and lodging near treatment facilities
- Medical bills and co-pays not fully covered by insurance
- Childcare and support for Carmelo and Daliyah
- Comfort and therapeutic items to help Desirae cope during treatment
Any support, no matter the amount, truly means the world to us. If you're unable to donate, we completely understand — please consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach others who may be able to help.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for keeping Desirae and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness and support mean more than words can express.
With gratitude,
The Molina and Amadio Family
