This is Briella Huntley. She is a joyful and loving baby. She loves to snuggle, play, and laugh at her silly big brothers. She is now 4 months old and has a rare condition called coronal craniostynosis. This means that in utero her skull fused together and her skull formed with no soft spot. This causes her brain to not have the room it needs to grow effectively, it also causes head and facial deformation. We feel so blessed that there is a procedure to help our sweet girl. She will undergo a 6 hour skull surgery, and then will require she wear a helmet for a year after to help her brain stay safe and to help shape her skull. Briella also has congenital muscular Toritocollis. This is a rare condition that causes the head to twist to one side due to contracting neck muscles. Briella has three loving big brothers at home and an amazing mommy and daddy as well as many other family and friends who love her and are cheering her on! The cost of the surgery, helmet, after care, gas, lodging, and food costs are worries we are hoping to take off the families plate.
