Help support Axel and family in this time of great need

This fundraiser is to benefit 3 year old Axel and family in order to assist in covering medical bills and related expenses.

Axel is a 3 year old boy, full of energy and love. He enjoys spending time with his older brother. He loves to sing, dance, and color. He is a goofy guy that is always laughing.

In mid April Axel started waking in the night with “night terrors” but was otherwise his normal playful self. In May he started complaining of abdominal pain and neck pain. His parents had him evaluated and common things being common he was diagnosed with constipation and torticollis.

On June 2nd Axel developed foot drop and was seen urgently by a specialist where he underwent additional testing. He was found to have a tumor on his spinal cord compressing the surrounding structures and causing neurological deficits. He was airlifted to a Nicklaus Children’s Hospital where he underwent an emergent neurosurgical procedure to remove the tumor from his spinal cord. A portion of the tumor remains on Axels spinal cord and his future will likely include chemotherapy. He is recovering from surgery now and is in good spirits trying to be his happy goofy self.

Axels parents Alexis and Joe are both wonderful people, high school sweet hearts, they live in Jupiter Florida where they raise their sons to be kind, loving, and respectful young boys. They are hard working, honest people who are devoted to providing for their family.

Please help to raise funds for this very deserving young family to assist with the costs of Axels medical and medical related expenses, as well as routine finances while both Alexis and Joe are out of work and by Axels side. Please join us in offering them financial security and peace of mind while they remain with their son as he undergoes treatment and battles these unforeseen circumstances.
