PLEASE Help Support Baby Ava’s Fight Against Cancer

My name is Ericka, and I am Ava’s grandmother (G'ma). Asking for financial help is VERY hard for me. I wasn't sure how much to request.

On December 8th, our world was turned upside down when we learned that our sweet 15‑month old Ava has a tumor on her liver. Cancer has blindsided this beautiful little girl, and our family is devastated. Ava was struggling and uncomfortable over the last few months. Her mom and dad took her for doctor visits/ER but no one even mentioned this as a possibility or saw this coming. The tumor continued to grow and is very large now.

Ava will undergo chemotherapy soon to shrink the tumor. Then surgery will follow. My son and his girlfriend are doing everything they can to stay strong for Ava, but the road ahead is overwhelming. Between medical expenses, countless trips back and forth to the hospital, and the loss of wages from missed work, the financial burden is heavy.

We are asking for help. Any amount, big or small, to ease the stress on Ava’s parents so they can focus on what matters most: being by her side and helping her heal.

Please keep Ava in your prayers!!! Please pray for her mommy and daddy. This is such a stressful time for a young couple. I believe in the power of faith, love, and community, and we are holding onto hope that she will make a full recovery.

Our Ava fought to enter this world as a preemie and her mommy went through a lot herself at that time. Please pray with us that she continues to fight through this as well.
