We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our beloved colleague and friend, Ate Jurdana and her family during the most difficult chapter of their lives.
Last Wednesday, Ate Jurdana, a dedicated nurse at Musgrove Park Hospital in Somerset, suffered a sudden out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Despite the tireless efforts of medical teams, her prognosis is extremely poor, and her family has been told she may deteriorate in the coming hours or days.
Jurdana's husband, Eliseo, and their young son are devastated, facing unimaginable emotional, financial, and practical uncertainty. Jurdana has always been the family’s pillar of strength, hope, and stability. Like so many overseas Filipino workers, she left her hometown in Bicol with courage, faith, and a dream — first working in the UAE, then finally reaching the UK to build a secure future with her family. She dedicated her life to caring for others, and now, her family urgently needs that same compassion and support returned.
This fundraiser is established to support:
- Immediate living and childcare expenses
- Emergency financial needs
- Legal and immigration support
- Possible repatriation and funeral arrangements
- Ongoing family support during recovery or bereavement
Jurdana has spent her life serving others with compassion and dedication. Now, it is our chance to help her family in their time of greatest need. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a tangible difference. If you cannot donate, sharing this page can help amplify the support and carry this family through this heartbreaking time.
Your kindness, prayers, and support mean the world to them. Let us honor Jurdana’s legacy of love and service by lifting her family when they need it most.
Donate today and be part of the bayanihan spirit that Jurdana lived by.
