This is 6-year-old Ashur. He had a seizure in the middle of the night. He got to take his first ambulance ride, and he will never remember it. A MRI revealed a lesion on his right temporal lobe. It is slowly leaking blood; this is what caused his seizure. The lesion must be removed to prevent further seizures and brain damage. So, little dude is heading for brain surgery. We, his family, ask that you help us with medical

expenses such as deductibles, co-pays, and time off work outside of PTO sick days.

Ashur had his surgery on Monday. He pulled through great. Today he will move out of the picu. All his labs, scans, and tests are coming back good. The doctors think he will be able to go home tomorrow.

Its been almost a year since Ashurs seizure. He has surgery and many scans. The lesion is gone and he should have no lasting affects. He will have another scan again in a year and then every 5 years, to be sure there is lasting affects.
