Hi, my name is Christina. I started this fundraiser for my former agent but also someone I consider a friend, April Cooper. She has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. If you’re anything like me, you went straight to google to figure out what that is. Well I’ll tell you, it’s cancer of plasma cells. April has been through multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and ongoing treatments. When she’s not in the hospital, she works a full-time job and an amazing single mother to a beautiful princess named Londynn. In December, April was informed that there was another tumor located on her skull. The last few months, April has had multiple ER visits where they’re unable to relieve the pain she is in on a consent basis, surgery to try to remove the tumor and still balancing being a full-time employee and single mother. In the upcoming months, April will be needing to take a few months off work for a surgery and treatment. With that being said, that’s why I’m creating this fundraiser. April is one of the strongest, funniest and most kind hearted people I have ever met. Not only has she changed my life, she touches the lives of all the people she comes across. With your donation, the money will go to: bills, household expenses and to her and her daughter. April has been through a lot throughout the last few years especially with COVID and with your donation, we are hoping to alleviate some stress and bring some comfort and stability to her and her family.
