Help Support April Pham's Funeral

I'm Mia, one of April's best friends. I am setting up a gofundme to support April's family in any way possible in creating a service for her. April was battling acute leukemia as well as avascular necrosis. On Feb. 24th, 2022, April passed away.

April wanted nothing more but a happy life where she could travel, go to school and do the things she loved most. We talked all of the time, whether it was over text, over the phone or seeing each other when she wasn't feeling too sick. But she was so afraid. She would tell me that she was tired of going through this after being diagnosed in early June. She was tired of hearing 'stay positive' from the people around her and feeling that her condition was the only thing gaining people's sympathy. April was real and wanted people to know that her conditions were not the best. She wasn't sure how she would live in so much pain, but she didn't even get the option to try.

She was far too young. She had plans for her future to continue studying at VCU and to live with me next Fall. April was a light to so many lives, so funny, charismatic, straightforward and full of joy. She honestly didn't think it mattered what other people around her thought if she started dancing.
