Meet Apollo. Apollo is my 9-year old companion and he is, quite honestly, the love of my life. A couple of months ago, after several incidents of unexplained aggression, we were told that he was suffering from a fibrosarcoma that is growing bigger with each day.
We are faced with having to amputate his back leg and are certain he will recover and live a full life. However, in today’s economy, a $4,000 surgery is nearly incomprehensible.
I am a full-time server and I work as many shifts as I can but if he does not have his surgery soon, I fear the mounting growth will only continue to cause pain and inhibit his freedom that he cherishes.
We would not be asking for help if we thought there were any other options. Any little bit helps and even if you can’t donate, sharing Apollo’s story could go a long way. ❤️ All the thanks from Apollo and his pet human.
