Tonii is a longtime friend of mine who was born and raised in Ladner, she is one of the most selfless, kindhearted, nurturing people that anyone would ever have pleasure of knowing. I have loved, trusted and admired her strength, throughout all of the years that I've been blessed to have her in my life.

For those of you who do not know Tonii, she has had to navigate through an overwhelming series of health challenges since October of 2023, but has managed to continue to fight through life with incredible grace, tenacity and dignity.

Tonii's life was turned completely upside down when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Epithelial Hemangioendothelioma Sarcoma, (EHE). This is an incredible rare cancer for which there is no cure, no option for radiation or chemotherapy, and unfortunately there are minimal other treatments obtainable for it. Since her diagnosis, Tonii and her family have been trying any and every possible option available through western and eastern medicine to try to slow the growth of the innumerable tumours that riddle her lungs, but Tonii's cancer is rapidly progressing. The Lymphangitis Carcinomatosis that has now invaded and spread throughout her lungs, has forced an increased need for oxygen intake, so she now relies on an oxygen tank 24/7, and Tonii's prognosis is now palliative.

Tonii's health has now forced her to stop working. As a single mother, with a school aged daughter and older son, the financial strain of this illness combined with the cost of raising her children has become overwhelming, Tonii is really struggling to keep her head above water. She needs our help right now, and she's the last person to ever ask for it.

Please help me help my friend. Please help anyway you can to try and make things flow as gracefully as possible for her. No amount is too small, any donation will make a difference.

The everyday things that we all can take for granted have become far too much for her, including cooking and taking care of her house, so if you are unable to contribute financially, there are other ways to support her. We are also looking for people to help organize, clean, and declutter her house and yard. Since she can no longer cook, her daughter and her could also use gift cards for Skip the Dishes.
