On December 19th, Ann’s life changed forever. While on her way to a birthday celebration at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, Arizona, the car she was riding in with her two best friends was struck by another driver, through no fault of their own. The accident claimed the life of one of Ann’s best friends and left Ann critically injured.
Ann has been part of my life for nearly 30 years. She moved in with my mother when I was a child and became more than a family friend — she became a second mother to me and my little brother. Ann has always put others first, working long hours and caring for us as if we were her own. Her kindness and generosity have touched so many lives. Now, she needs our help.
Ann suffered severe, life-altering injuries, including multiple fractures to her leg, pelvis, hip, wrist, ribs, and back. She also sustained serious internal injuries that required the removal of her spleen, appendix, and part of her colon. She remains hospitalized and faces a long and painful recovery.
In the months ahead, Ann will need extensive rehabilitation and will be unable to work. She is worried about caring for her two beloved dogs and covering basic living and medical expenses while she heals. Ann has always been there for others — now we are asking for help on her behalf.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this fundraiser is just as appreciated. Please keep Ann in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your kindness and support.
