Help Support Annie's Fight Against stage 3 Cancer
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,
I reach out to you with a heavy heart, seeking your support for a cherished family in our community. Annie, a spirited 5-year-old, has been air-vac'd from Dawson Creek to Vancouver last weekend following a heartbreaking diagnosis of Wilms tumor on her kidney. This news has sent shockwaves through the Chymko family, as well as our tight-knit community.
For those acquainted with the Chymko family, love for them is instinctive. Stef, Annie's mom, is a beloved local who grew up here in Dawson Creek. Her involvement in various community activities, especially her dedication to the skating club, has left a lasting impact on many of us. Keith, Annie's dad, is an owner-operator who has bravely paused his work to stand steadfastly by his family during this challenging time.
One of the biggest challenges the Chymko family will face is the travel expenses they will incur traveling between Dawson Creek to be with their other daughter Claire and Vancouver to be with Annie. These costs can quickly become overwhelming, adding to the already immense burden they carry.
Annie's journey towards recovery has begun. This Tuesday, she will undergo a biopsy of the tumor, followed by the installation of a port in her chest for chemotherapy. The road ahead is daunting, filled with uncertainties and emotional turmoil for both Annie and her family.
The Chymko family is not one to solicit assistance. Their resilience and determination are admirable. Yet, as a close-knit community, we yearn to offer tangible support during this trying time. Your generosity and kindness can make a world of difference.
To this end, we've established this GoFundMe page to rally around Annie and her family with financial assistance. So during this time the family can focus on what is most important ANNIE.
Together, let us lift the Chymko family in their hour of need. With your support, we can provide them with the love, encouragement, and resources necessary to navigate this challenging journey.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and networks. Your compassion will bring hope to Annie's life and offer the Chymko family the strength they require to face the trials ahead.
