Help Support Anji's Battle With Cancer
Donation protected
IATSE 887 is coming together to ask our brothers, sisters, and kin to help us support one of our own as they go through a challenging time.
Anji Wetherill joined 887 in the mid-90s when she helped organize the Seattle Opera costume shop. She has been an involved and beloved member of the Seattle costuming community ever since, working all around the city and putting a smile on people's faces.
A few months before her 45th birthday, Anji was diagnosed with breast cancer. Luckily, that was a fight she won, and she was cancer-free for 14 years.
Unfortunately, in May of this year, Anji was again diagnosed with breast cancer, but this time it had metastasized in her bones. We are coming together as her Union family and as her community and asking for help so that we can support Anji in this challenging time.
If there is any way that you can contribute to help with the cost of her medical bills, we would greatly appreciate it. If you cannot financially contribute but are looking for other ways to help support Anji, please email us, and we will help set something up.
Anji is a beloved, longtime member of our Union family. Standing together and helping each other in times of need is the foundation of what we do.
