Hi my name is Pamela, Angela's daughter. I am asking for your help in supporting my mom through this unexpected medical diagnosis. On April 1st, she became extremely sick with a high fever and throwing up. Her stomach was hurting so bad that she decided to go to the ER and thank God she did. In the ER they rushed her back and went straight into a CAT Scan. There the doctor found that she was suffering from diverticulitis. My mom hadn't had any complications before and wasn't diagnosed with this in the past. It was so advanced that the surgeon was consulted and an emergency exploratory surgery was scheduled that night. Within an hour of the diagnosis she was taken to surgery where they were able to get the infected part of her colon out. The surgery lasted about 2 hours. She is now in ICU where she will stay for a couple days. Then she will be in the step-down unit for a week.

As you can imagine this was all very sudden and definitely not a good April fools joke. I am putting this together in the hope that I can help my mom cover some of her medical expenses. I kindly ask you to donate anything you can big or small so my mom can focus on healing and not on her bills. All money will be going directly to her medical expenses. If you can't support her financially then please keep her in your prayers during this time.

I will continue to update this page when I have more information. As of right now she is resting in the ICU but, to be expected, in a lot of pain.
