Help Support Andy Through Another Cancer Fight

Let's get right into it. This is to help support Andy Barela through another fight with cancer. Andy is the father of three sons, a loving husband/grandpa and my father in law.

He was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon and Rectal Cancer at the age of 46. After getting a Colostomy Bag, going through chemo treatments and having multiple surgeries, he went into remission. Since then he has been able to get back to enjoying life by going fishing and spending time with family and friends. He also became a grandpa to two grandbabies!

Now 10 years later, he has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. The Colon and Rectal Cancer came back in his lungs. He has once again started chemo treatments to try and shrink the cancer. We have learned that the doctors will not be able to do surgery to remove the cancer this time around. That he will have to live with this. This second time around has been a lot more challenging than the first. The chemo treatments have left Andy very weak and nauseous, which has made the days difficult to get through. However, Andy is a strong person with a good mindset and he is pushing through it as best as he can.

Due to all of the appointments and the side effects of the chemo treatments, his wife Mary has had to be at home a lot more to help him, even with the help from his sons. All of this, along with the growing hospital bills, have made it hard to get by without help.
