Hello!

I am Andi (Andrea) Weidemann. I am a professional singer, music teacher, and arts coordinator in Dallas, TX and Denver, CO. I am asking for your help in supporting my pilgrimage to India!

I am a staff musician at First Unitarian Church of Dallas, an awesome organization that maintains a partnership with Unitarians in Northeast India. Every year, the church organizes a Music & Arts camp at the Children's Village, an orphanage in the state of Meghalaya. I have the enormous privilege to assist with this camp, share my own knowledge and educational activities with the kids, and fully live among the Khasi people. My trip is from December 31st 2025 - January 18th 2026.

This is a journey to rural, tribal India- and while it is a service trip it is NOT missionary work.

My travel costs are supported by the church, but your generosity will provide me a strong safety net. Since it's my first time traveling half way around the world, I am trying to not cut corners!
