Our Dear Friend Natalie Mifsud, known to most as Nat is battling one of the toughest fights she will face.
Before we talk about her battle, I want to tell you about the person she is.
Nat, has a passionate and caring nature and will go above and beyond for anyone who crosses her path. Nat, you would say is a Happy, Healthy 34 year old friend, loyal partner, loving and proud mother of 3 children aged 14,10 and 6, a beautiful daughter, sister and work colleague.
She is a person who brings a positive and vibrant energy to any room she enters, always greeting you with a warm smile, a genuine enthusiasm and she a makes everyone feel comfortable and cared for around her.
On Sunday the 16th of February, Nat would be faced with her toughest fight.
Nat suffered a bleed on the brain was flown to a Hospital over an hour away from her family and home town for urgent medical care and treatment.
Nat has undergone 3 major surgeries to the brain and has had a part of her Skull removed to relieve the pressure and swelling.
Nat is currently in a stable but critical condition in an ICU unit. She is yet to wake up and her longterm injuries are unknown. She still has a massive fight on her hands and a long road to recovery.
As you could imagine, Nat’s current condition comes with not only the physical and emotional stress, but also financial. We are reaching out to our communities in hope to raise help and support to Nat and her family throughout this difficult time, to help with Medical, travel and future rehabilitation expenses, and so that the family are able to focus on Nat and be by her side every step of the way.
No matter how big or small any little bit will help and would be greatly appreciated.
Nats family’s wish to raise as much awareness as they possibly can as time has much more value than any money.
If Nats story can prompt just one person to have their head checked and potentially prevent or save someone’s life they have achieved all they have set out to do.
So please Don’t ignore your Head and get it checked!!
Headaches are common in fact everyone will experience a headache in their life time some more common then others meaning 95% of the population is affected by a headache, with 1 in 7 people experiencing a migraine.
That was all it took was a persistent headache she put down to one of her usual migraines. But this time it would be the first and main warning sign that something sinister was about to happen.
Please keep Nat in your thoughts and prayers
