Hi, most of you already know me but for those of you who don’t, my name is Heather. I have known the Sutherland family for over 30 years and anyone that has been blessed with having this family in their life knows they would never hesitate to help someone in need.
Over the summer Rick suffered an injury at home fracturing his collar bone which lead to further testing. Unfortunately, in August Rick was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. This has lead to both Rick and Brenda being out of work, attending weekly doctor appts, multiple hospitalizations, and the requirement of some medical equipment at home.
Rick and the family need more support now than ever as he has started inpatient Chemotherapy. Traveling back and forth to the hospital daily, parking fees, cost of meals and co-pays are quickly adding up . Rick longs for the support of his family at the bed side as this helps him both emotionally and mentally. Please consider helping out this wonderful family during this difficult time.
