Many of you know Amy Hamilton, original Mainer, long-time Jackson Hole/Alpine resident, and one of the most patient, caring, and strong people I’ve ever met. Big smile, bigger sense for adventure, biggest heart. In October 2021, Amy was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, followed by a double mastectomy, and is now starting three weeks of radiation at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City. In order to get this five day a week treatment, Amy is uprooting her life in Wyoming and relocating to Utah for that month. As you can imagine, medical bills and just daily normal expenses will add up during that time and in the months to come. Even with insurance, this is already costing a mint out of pocket.
