Help support Amy (Ehrsam) North's cancer battle

Donation protected
To know Amy North is the gift of a lifetime; she definitely has saved us all from an ordinary life. She always makes adventure and fun the utmost priority - whether it's tubing down the river or sitting at the table talking and playing games. She's the person who can shut down the dance (or kitchen) floor while singing Pour Some Sugar On Me, and can bring you to tears with her hilarious stories. Her laughter is infectious, and the sounds she can make are off the charts. She also has the innate ability to open a twist top wine bottle with a cork screw in under 30 minutes. There is never a dull moment with Amy!

While she's the life of the party, she is also one of the most caring and loving individuals on this planet. She goes to great lengths for those around her. Her heart is as big as the ocean and, ironically, one of her favorite places to visit.

To say that the last few months have been a medical whirlwind for Amy is an understatement. What started as an initial diagnosis of arthritis in her hip has led to an unimaginable place.

Two weeks ago, Amy and her family received some devastating news...she was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer (lobular) which has metastasized to her hip, pelvis, vertebrae and ribs. The cancer in her hip is so aggressive that it has become challenging for Amy to walk.

Recently, she has met with a team of doctors from the top universities around and has heard the words "aggressive", "cancerous", "5 years", "palliative" more than anyone should.

This past Friday, she met a doctor who Amy describes as "her angel". One that has a brilliant team who are not scared of the cancerous beast enraging Amy's body. One that is providing a glimmer of hope to Amy and Mike. One that is also a mom with children that are similar in age to Amy's children - Jaedon (15) and Annabel (14). She told Amy: "Your attitude and energy inspires me and I will make sure you aren't "sick" in your children's eyes". Amy can't fathom how she can be inspiring but those close to her know the truth to this.

Amy is now unable to work and has used up all her sick days. She is currently in the process of waiting the dreaded 5+ months to see if her disability is approved.

Unfortunately, this will not cover many of the foreseeable medical expenses. Contributions will go toward medical bills, food for the family, lodging and everyday necessities that come with the loss of her income. We are asking for your support by blessing her family with a donation.

It is truly appreciated if you could give back or ‘pay it forward’ to support the North family so that Amy can focus on her two main goals: to kick cancer's ass, and to try and maintain the normalcy of life for Jaedon and Annabel.

Please keep her family and team of doctors in your prayers. We will update this page on Amy's fight at beating cancer.

We want nothing more than to see Amy dancing again.

God Bless,
