Help Support Amber's Concussion Recovery
Donation protected
On February 17 my good friend and room mate Amber had a serious crash on her snowboard, resulting in a concussion. For weeks, she struggled with short-term memory loss, and while her scans are clear—thankfully showing no traumatic brain injury—her recovery is far from over.
If you've ever had a concussion, you know how tough it can be to do even simple tasks. Amber is dealing with light and sound sensitivity, nausea, and exhaustion, making it incredibly hard for her to return to work. You may know her from the Village Idiot when she has brought you a beer or gigantic pizza. Right now, though, serving shifts are difficult for her, and EI payments don’t come close to covering rent, groceries, bills, or the physiotherapy treatments she needs.
I'm asking our amazing Revelstoke community to help Amber get through this tough time. Any amount—big or small—will make a difference in helping her focus on healing without financial stress.
Thank you so much for your support!!

P.S. Don't tell her you saw this - she'll probably kill me.
UPDATE
She knows now so feel free to share far and wide!
She is beyond grateful for your support :)
