On Monday night, which was Amber’s birthday, she and her daughters, Kiera and Sophia, were hit by a drunk driver. Sophia took the brunt of the impact on her side of the vehicle and is currently sedated in the hospital with a broken leg, broken foot and head trauma with a fractured skull. The doctors are keeping her sedated for at least the next five days to let the swelling on her brain to go down.

Amber is a single mom who works as a school lunch lady, and she is missing a significant amount of work right now to stay by her daughters' side. Between losing her car in the crash and needing to replace Sophia's phone, the financial strain is piling up fast while she waits for insurance to sort things out.
