Help Support Amanda's Healing Journey

My name is Ashley, and I created this GoFundMe to help support my best friend Amanda and her family.

On 8/11/24, Amanda was in a terrible accident that left her with multiple compound fractures to her left leg. Amanda was airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND, placed in critical care, and underwent emergency surgery (IM nail). Once she was discharged and back home, she suffered a severe infection that has added length to her recovery. She is non-weight bearing on her left leg and unable to work for a minimum of 7 weeks, with a 4-6 month expected recovery time.

Amanda and her daughter just moved into a new place days before the accident happened. She is a single mom and never one to ask for help but always the first one there to help others. With the new place, the helicopter ride, the emergency surgery, follow-up care, physical therapy, and lost wages/income, the bills are inevitably stacking up.

I am asking her family, friends, and community to come together and help this family out in their time of need.
