Help Support Alex’s Road to Recovery

On April 25,2025, a devastating accident changed my nephew, Alex’s life forever. Tragically, the friend who was with him lost his life, and Alex is now fighting for his own at UAB Hospital. He has suffered burns over 75% of his body and multiple fractures. While the full extent of his injuries is still unfolding, we know one thing for sure the road ahead for Alex will be long, painful, and challenging.

Alex had only recently started his job and, like many young people starting out, he didn’t yet have medical insurance. His mother and stepfather, who are raising younger children as well, are doing everything they can to be by Alex’s side, but the reality is, the mounting medical bills and long-term care needs are more than any family could handle alone.

We are asking for help-not because they expect it, but because any support would ease the tremendous burden they’re facing and allow them to focus solely on what matters most: Alex’s healing and future.
