Hello. My name is Alana DeGroot I’m 28 years old and 5 years sober from a horrible alcohol addiction. To the glory of God.

I haven’t done anything really with my life out of fear that I was going to choose wrong, that went against the Lords will for me.

Because of that fear it kept me from ever making a decision.

with prayer and stepping out in faith and trust in God, I have decided to go to college to be a nurse.

Since the Lord changed me, my heart, I have a desire to help people.

All I care about is helping others find Jesus.

I care so deeply for people who are suffering, not just physically but spiritually.

I want to make a difference in this world and for God.

I have prayed and prayed for the Lord to help me.

I’m struggling financially. Not just with school stress but personally.

I live in Doniphan mo and I will be driving Monday- Friday for 2 years to poplar bluff mo at Three Rivers College every morning.

I have been worried, stressed with trying to figure out how I’m going to pay for the gas back and forth everyday.

I do have a job, but I only work 3 days a week. After I pay my bills I only have about 40$ or so left and I get food with what little that is. I am almost behind on bills.

I’ve been trying to get ahead, but I have not been able to do so.

I am in desperate need of financial help.

I didn’t know if I should ask people for help because it makes me feel really bad. But how is anyone going to know someone needs help if they don’t tell someone.

All I want here on Earth is to live for the Lord and help others.

With this being said, I am one of those others that need help.

The money that gets donated will be going towards gas for transportation to college, for any bills from college that my pell grant doesn’t cover and to help me get stable.
