Dear Family, Friends and Community,

In times of trial, we often find our faith tested, but it is through the kindness of others that we experience God’s grace. Today we reach out with a hopeful heart, trusting in the love and support of others as we face a challenging journey.

For our parents, this last year was one filled with profound trials and tests of faith.

In January of 2024 our father had an on slot of major medical issues that landed him in the hospital where he ended up having to have surgery. Not long later our mom was out walking their dog and fell braking her shoulder in multiple places. Before those wounds had completely healed they found themselves in the hospital with our grandma where they unexpectedly found themselves saying goodbye to her. They have been the soul caregivers for our grandparents and now face funeral bills as well. With the new year we had hopes for a fresh beginning for them. Unfortunately on January 24, 2025 our mom (who is the soul bread winner in the home) was laid off from her job and the next day they were in a terrible car accident. We couldn’t be more grateful that both of them survived however our dad ended up with 10 broken ribs annd a concussion and our mom, 2 broken ribs, a broken kneecap a broken shin and a broken ankle.

Each trial has brought them to their knees, yet they have found strength in their unwavering faith and in the love of our Lord.

Through each of these difficulties, our parents have leaned on God’s promises, trusting that He is with them in every storm. As they continue to navigate these challenges, we humbly ask for your help in reaching our goal to help cover medical expenses, daily finances, funeral cost (for grandma) and to replace their car that was totaled.

Each gift, no matter the size, will serve as a testament to the power of community and faith. If you are unable to contribute monetary means, your prayers and sharing their story with others would be a tremendous blessing.

Querida familia, amigos y comunidad,

En tiempos de prueba, nuestra fe suele ser puesta a prueba, pero es a través de la bondad de los demás que experimentamos la gracia de Dios. Hoy nos acercamos a ustedes con un corazón esperanzado, confiando en el amor y el apoyo de los demás mientras enfrentamos un camino desafiante.

Para nuestros padres, el último año ha estado lleno de pruebas profundas y desafíos de fe.

En enero de 2024, nuestro padre sufrió una serie de graves problemas médicos que lo llevaron al hospital, donde finalmente tuvo que someterse a una cirugía. Poco tiempo después, nuestra madre salió a pasear con su perro y sufrió una caída, fracturándose el hombro en múltiples lugares. Antes de que esas heridas sanaran por completo, se encontraron nuevamente en el hospital, esta vez con nuestra abuela, donde inesperadamente tuvieron que despedirse de ella. Además, han sido los únicos cuidadores de nuestros abuelos y ahora también enfrentan los costos del funeral.

Con el inicio del nuevo año, teníamos la esperanza de un nuevo comienzo para ellos. Lamentablemente, el 24 de enero de 2025, nuestra madre (quien es el único sustento económico del hogar) perdió su empleo, y al día siguiente sufrieron un terrible accidente automovilístico. Estamos profundamente agradecidos de que ambos hayan sobrevivido; sin embargo, nuestro padre terminó con 10 costillas rotas y una conmoción cerebral, mientras que nuestra madre sufrió la fractura de 2 costillas, la rótula, la espinilla y el tobillo.

Cada una de estas pruebas los ha llevado al límite, pero han encontrado fuerza en su fe inquebrantable y en el amor de nuestro Señor.

A lo largo de estas dificultades, nuestros padres se han apoyado en las promesas de Dios, confiando en que Él está con ellos en cada tormenta. Mientras continúan enfrentando estos desafíos, humildemente les pedimos su ayuda para alcanzar nuestra meta de cubrir los gastos médicos, los gastos diarios, el costo del funeral de nuestra abuela y la reposición de su automóvil, que fue declarado pérdida total.
