On October 2, our dear friend Al was involved in a tragic head-on collision that turned his world upside down. He sustained serious injuries and required emergency surgery, and is currently in the ICU fighting through a long and difficult recovery. Those who know Al know he’s one of the most caring, hard-working, and kind-hearted people you’ll ever meet. He’s the first to show up when someone needs help, the one who would give you the shirt off his back, and the friend who can always make you laugh even on the hardest days.

His wife, Sandy, has been by his side every single day, traveling a long distance just to be with him at the hospital. She’s been his rock—managing the stress, the travel, and the worry, while trying to stay strong for him. But the road ahead will be long for both of them. Between time off work, medical expenses, travel costs, and the challenges of recovery, they are facing a very difficult time financially and emotionally.

This fundraiser is our way of giving back to two incredible people who have touched so many lives. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping Al and Sandy with expenses during this long recovery—so they can focus on healing and getting Al back on his feet.
